General technical questions and Blender tips.
I can't select the object or can only select one face?
You're likely not in Edit Mode (press Tab) or you haven't turned on X-Ray mode (Alt + Z) to select through the object.
What is the orange dot in the middle of the screen?
That dot is the object's "Origin" (Center) point. Move, rotate, and scale operations are done relative to this point.
Why did everything suddenly disappear in Blender?
You probably accidentally pressed the H key and hid everything. You can bring everything back by pressing Alt + H.
Airplane engine sound?
Don't worry, that sound is Blender's way of measuring your patience. If your computer starts to take off, don't forget to close the windows!
